Kristy Johnson has always loved books, sharing special moments with young ones—and, of course, magic! A lifelong educator, her journey began as a child helping out in her mom’s special education classroom. She went on to teach preschool and elementary students, train teachers at the college level, and serve in various educational roles throughout her career. Her favorite role was teaching social-emotional skills to both teachers and children using puppets. Kristy is the mom of two children, three dogs, and one cat. She lives with her partner in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina where she loves to dance and hike and see the magic!
